Individual work:

(Personal note) This week, a boy who attended my old sixth form committed suicide. His name was Finn Kitson and the cause of his suicide was put down to both the psychical and mental isolation he experienced because of the pandemic and starting at a new university. A truly tragic and deeply upsetting event to happen, this furthered my desire to explore this topic.

As well as news articles and online resources looking into corona-virus and photographers creative response to it, I also knew that to acheive a good grade I would also need to explore/ research into some different photographers work. I also knew it was essential to finalize my theme/ concept.

This week I carried out my shoot with Lauren Brown, I played around with the projector exploring real and surreal images to see which effect i preferred. Below are some of the drafted images.
