For this image, I included a close up shot alike most of my other finalized pictures to provide the audience with a sense of intimacy and trust, whilst being contrasted by the clinical coldness provided by the black and white. I used mobile software to create a blurred and glitch effect on the numbers on the mask - Helplines of domestic abuse. The effect I wanted to create was that the more the pandemic has worsened, the more help has vanished. Using the 4 different photographs to show the worsening of the situation as well as the lack of clarity victims have been given by the government. The remaining on the victim and his eyes in this instance, reminds the audience that the victims still remain, but the reliability of governments help does not.
